Escaping the winter cold to some warm weather
We are planning a nice winter getaway over to the Sunshine Coast to escape the cold here as even during winter they have nice warm days, comparable to our summer. We can’t fly directly there so I figured we will just fly to Brisbane and then go to one of the car hire places at the airport and drive up. It only takes a couple of hours to drive and it is a nice drive. We will probably keep the car for the whole time as there are lots of nice day trips to do all around that area but you definitely need your own transport to do them.
