Right And Left Hand Placement For A Good Golf Grip
This is a basic but it is important that you start here before you learn anything else. This is because you do not want to develop a bad posture and bad hand position which can be difficult to break later on. Starting with your left hand, wrap your first four fingers (pinkie to index) around the club’s handle while it is on your palm. The pressure will be applied by the first three fingers (pinkie to middle) while your index finger is mostly only there for control and balance. Also, your thumb should press the handle on the opposing side. For your right hand, wrap it around the handle right after the left hand. Your right hand pinkie should be in between the index and middle finger of your left hand.
