Getting Lazy

Why is it that as soon as I start thinking about new electric garden equipment, my wife makes a remark about getting lazy in my old age? For a start, I deny being old. I am still in two figures. When I am 100, then she can say that, and there’s 40 years to go yet. All because I said I was going to buy an electric garden tiller. I know the exercise is supposed to be good for me, doing everything manually, but we have big garden, and I have a full time job. It’s the hours that don’t add up. Getting old indeed.
