Functional and Practical: Advertising Clocks
Before I graduated high school I knew that a career in writing awaited me; and more specifically, a career in advertising. To me, writing that perfect blip of copy persuading consumers to even consider an advertised product was exciting. Even though they won’t come right out and admit to it, I feel my draw toward the Madison Avenue world was partly due to my father’s extensive collection of Advertising Clocks. He loved them! And our basement was home to over 20 of them! It was cool. The neatest one by far was the waterfall clock depicting a refreshing beverage or two. These are very functional, and practical, clocks.
