Just How Many Places Use the Australian Dollar?
Our missionary group is planning a “business” trip to the Cocos Islands, and were trying to figure out where to get the best exchange rates when we found out the the Cocos Islands use the Australian dollar as its currency. Going a little deeper, we found out the the Australian Dollar is used extensively in that part of the world. The money is even the official currency in part of Antarctica. If that is true, how many places might we look to get the best exchange rate? Would it vary from one of the places that use the currency to another? How would we find out which one would have the best rate?
