Buying a Car in ATL with Bad Credit
I don’t know what got into me, but for the two years after I got my first credit card (age 18) I spent way too much time trying to “keep up with the Jones” and building significant debt for myself at an early age.
Now my credit report says I have a pretty bad debt-to-credit ratio, and my score has dropped to about 620. Three months ago, I finally got the job I wanted — a retail position that pays really well. I’ll be able to use the surplus income to get rid of my debt.
Unfortunately, I needed a car to commute to this new position. With a lack of saved money on hand, I knew I had to find an atlanta car loan that would allow me to purchase a vehicle despite my bad credit. Luckily I was able to get approved by applying online, and within a week I was driving my new (well, new to me) 2002 4Runner.
