Keeping Music in the Family
I’ve been playing the piano since I was a child. My mom played as well and she’s the one that taught me. She was an amazing teacher and piano player. I loved to spend Saturday afternoons in the house listening to her play the most amazing songs. It was exciting watching her fingers fly. When I became a teenager I wanted to stray a bit from the piano. I found a flyer offering beginner guitar lessons and took the person up on the offer! Now when I go visit my mom, I like to pull out of guitar and play something along with her.
